We are here to ensure you have the tools for success on your journey of parenthood! Here at Foundations Resource Center, we are just that, a resource for you, and our services do not stop after pregnancy. We are here for you long-term.
How We Help
We offer prenatal, parenting, and healthy relationships classes, which are all free and open to anyone. This includes free breastfeeding support provided by an experienced registered nurse.
Some courses included in our curriculum are:
- Prenatal Care
- Labor and Delivery
- Simple Infant Care
- Breastfeeding
- Parenting (birth through early childhood)
- Coparenting
- Life skills (budgeting, finding a job, home management, etc.)
- STD/STI Avoidance
- Healthy relationships
When Do Classes Take Place?
Group classes are offered every Tuesday and Thursday from 1 to 2 PM. Contact us to find out about our current group class topic or to register for group classes.
Want One-On-One Learning?
If you’re interested in one-on-one classes, we also offer these education appointments so you can feel comfortable learning in a private setting.
Who Can Participate In Educational Resource Classes?
Everyone is welcome to take part in our educational resources. You do not need to be a client or female to participate. We want you to feel supported and comfortable, so we welcome you to bring your partner, family members, or a friend.
If you prefer to come by yourself, that’s okay too! We are a community at the Foundations Resource Center, and you will not be alone.
